giving myself a little breakie from studying now... so better quick do a short blog first... no time.... so busy... now trying to chiong for my biotech test... jus started... LOL. like how i'm gg to finish with so many upcoming activites i also dunno... oh well, i believe things will work out in the end... jus received another sms from a friend asking to go for dinner tml nite.... haha jus the day before yest, i rejected sy to meet up tml also... n i noe i'm suppose to be studying but truth be told, the reason i hav rejected all offers for tml nite is becoz tml nite i m gg to a dance performance... faint~ should be fun n lookiing forward to it. no doubt but work is a bugging tot...

btw, watched Deathnote spin off yest.. nice nice. clever L never fails to excite me. but personally i like first 2 more... more related to the deathnote thingy... but still its a movie above average.... =p

Airshow 2008

hmm.. tired todae. went to the airshow with zy.. suppose to meet at 9.15.. but at 9.45 i received a call from zy n i jumped out of bed.. so end up of coz late la... but luckily we were jus in time for the airshow display.. realli veri nice n cool! i like the propeller planes stunts n the one where 2 planes flew veri closely pass each other.. wow! but shld hav brought our sunglasses along.. too glaring.. a bit xin ku to the eyes.

the crowd there was over-whelming.. i think its veri xin ku for the kids.. sweaty n tired by the end of it all.. the transport was slow... coz of the sheer size of visitors... cant b helped i guess.. crowd control is tough... waited for 1plus nearly 2 hrs for the return trip... n we got a show to catch at 3.50... sianz. late lor. but still ok la.. bo bian.. the airshow is still worth the trip la.. no regrets. once in a while, muz b overwhelmed.. LOL..

Overnight mj!!!

hmm, todae feeling a bit groggy coz i played mj for the whole night yest... haha. in celebration of mid-sem 'break'. muz unwind a bit first rite... went to greg's place. my second time playing at his place. i tink i'm getting the hang of mj liao. luck last nite was not bad.. went for supper at Simpang, hmm prata there is not bad but super oily la... esp THE BOMB!! lol. greg and alex was funny enough. plus mike, we laugh till cannot... haha a chance for dear to hav a glimpse of my class ppl.. he say his class is not even 1/10 of my class in view of nonsense. but what he saw last nite, was onli less than 1/10 of what my class ppl is capable of leh.. LOL.. (means my class is at least a 100-fold more funny than his lor. *proud* hee) last nite was onli 2/15 guys he saw... the REAL stuff comes onli when 15/15 is present... haha 1903 forever =p after so many years, our bond remains. that says something. *winkz*

i can do IT!!!

wasnt feeling good bout myself tis morning.. school work seems to be spinning out of my control... piles of unread notes, approaching project deadlines, and tests to handle... not to mention the number of tutorials i hav attended without doing any preparation... how to do if i haven read my notes... sigh.. worse of all, i dunno wat m i busy with... i blame it on the timetable i hav this sem, i blame it on my tiredness after 6pm lectures... most imptly, i blame it on myself giving excuses... i don believe i cant survive if i do realli push myself a bit harder... jus a bit harder. once i condition myself to that kind of circumstance, i don believe i cant push myself a bit harder than that.. i will survive. i did certainly work harder than tis before.. juggling more stuff than this before. i can make it de!! What don kill will make me stronger. I believe. i just need to start. READY ON MY MARK, GET SET GO!!!! chiong ah......

oh my! i'm feeling so FULL now.. just came back from a sumptous dinner from jurong east blk 204... u tink its a restaurant?? yupz, the standard is equivalent.. but its single-handedly done by edwin's mum!!! there's onli four of us, but it was lots of yummy food awaiting us... We had yusheng, cold platter, curry, guo tie and sheng mian for main dish... The cold platter was impressive!! everything was done by auntie. all homemade, except for the honeydew (not grown by edwin), the century egg (coz no suitable soil to bury with) and the clams (no aquarium at his place). everything was so nice, for 2 hours we were busy eating through every dish... edwin is realli so xin fu to hav a mum who is such a great cook la... xin fu de xiao hai.. then at the dinner of dinner, auntie still dish out hot yam paste dessert... not onli was there yam, still got pumpkin, ginkgo with crunchy chestnut... so traditional can... So xin fu today. =p 4/8 of COT who missed out, its realli a loss..... haiz. lol

13yao jus went back... had a fun nite today. came to my place for steamboat cum bbq. marcus brought yu sheng over without veg... cute hor.. lucky my house like supermarket, everything dou hav, so my mum prepared the veg.. then end up we lou veri vigourously n everything flew everywhere... LOL. damn funny lah. then we had MJ time... played 3 times onli but got win, not bad not bad. pair with kat, luck not bad.. then play dai dee luck also not bad. lol... 13yao is always so fun tog... love ya guys! =p oh ya, marcus, ur coffee pork ribs is yum!! sheng gong le!!

ohoh tis afternoon i had veri nice steam crab. yum yum, the claw is super big can.. the meat also veri firm... hui san still offer to peel for mi... hoho.. sister so nice hor.. but got big piece meat she eat it herself.. bleah.. end up mummy give mi the big claw.. i peel myself.. this few days so pampered... 2 days ago eat lobster, yest eat big, juicy scallop, todae eat crab.. yum yum!!*happy*

ya its the time of the year again... where many people get all fuzzy and warm because of this four-letter word.. well, of coz there will also be people who get squirmy and uninterested in it because they are too bothered that they cant find someone to spend it with. Well, personally i feel the latter redundant. Que Sera Sera isnt it? When single, enjoy the time u hav with urself. When attached, u will have forever to spend with ur partner.

well, i should b having tuition with my kid now, but becoz of that little thing called love, i am here blogging instead... my kid came in with a heavy heart, (actually its only today i jus found out bout his budding romance). he is having a slight glitch with his GF.. hahaha.. at first when he told mi GF, i was thinking of gas filtration... ya la, i noe silly me.. but didnt strike mi that he was referring to GF as in girlfriend mah... at least the fad of calling 'stead' is maybe gone... haha personally cant stand ppl calling another their stead.. sounds weird. Anyway, becoz of him being in an unsettled mood, i was unable to teach with him being all so figidity, so end up i played the role of counsellor today.. N gave him time to 'settle' his never-ending phonecalls.. Luckily, the whole thing was resolved in the end and at least i get my last 20mins with him.... oh boy, this little thing call love.... LOL

(PS. actually few ppl will come to my place to bai nian.. hehe. so my sis's habit is to buy wat we like to eat) *ROFL* =p clever hor.

All's in a day's work

today is a veri tiring day.... but many little things happened todae.. totally random.

had my spinelli bfast sandwich today, onli to realise i rmb my lecture timing wrongly, n shortly after my sandwich, i found myself having to eat lunch again....

haha saw feli, n she gave us an 'evil' smile... lolz.

at arts, saw a 'cow' literally. the 'cow' was wearing slippers and sunglasses (think he don wan ppl to recognise him la, lol). the 'cow' did not zip up properly.. was actually nussu promoting for the bazaar at forum.. as to y 'cow' as mascot i dunno la. no link.

at arts canteen, saw n heard a large grp of ppl lao yu sheng... so happening hor sch life..

outside central forum bookshop, saw reporters interviewing Eunice Olsen.. she is quite pretty la...

went w wp to walk walk in bookshop, kena reporter ask us for a short interview regarding co-op's new concept of paying 10cents for plastic bags in future... P.S friends, buy now they give recycle bag, while stock last. thereafter next time u need plastic bags hav to pay.. or do wat i always do, dump into own schoolbag. but we shy, we reject. =p

then went back to science. opened the locker within 30s. no sweat. yeah~ but had to walk back to it twice coz forget to take magazine.. :(

asked my friends 2 qian bian qns tt miss teo asked me yest. mei xiang dao, junice even better still... she hav a real-life pun to share. Ppl, next time if u go LOT 1 shopping mall, go find a shop selling pies... n its name is...PIE-KIA... lol... i was so tickled by it.. plus junice is ard, i jus hav to hear her laugh to start laughing again... hahaha..

tired n fed-up with ew lec... tat guy, not zi dong de... no break still end lecture so late.. waste time talking un-impt stuff... can u imagine how tedious it is to hear someone speak without comma and fullstop.. after his lec, my mood jiu plunge into the valley of no return liao...

todae, psych lec was bout memory.. haha had many small small activites during lecture to test memory.. interesting. had cookies with me todae ;) i'm so lucky, continously for 3 weeks, it jus so happen that on mon, someone will give mi some finger food which i can eat during psych lec. thanks this 3 ppl!!

then met agnes n niron who ended french at 8 too.. then hav agnes pei mi on train. first time so zhun, saw them at busstop.

had to buy back dinner, on the way there, saw 3cats fighting... so fierce lo. scare mi!! i was so near. they jus pounce on each other.. scully scratch me jiu jailat liao. And
on my way home i saw a malay uncle walking in front of me knock into the pillar while walking..

Yest wanted to go jogging.. but it rained... tot it stopped but then last check out of the window confirmed tat it was still drizzling... so bo bian... felt guilty not running coz had chicken wings for dinner last nite.. lol. No jog still eat oily food.. veri jialat hor. so tis morning told myself die die also must go jog.. weather is veri nice todae, no sun although its sunday. lol. k lame. anyway, i'm happy that i managed to drag myself out of bed to go jogging.. somehow, todae was in the mood to run, was enjoying the jog. Then i saw andy, we were jogging in different directions, him along east coast road and mi along the linear park i usually use. so qiao. first time meeting andy while jogging. =p hmm next time we meet, will b the gatehring at my place liao lo... so long.... miss 13yao..

todae is generally fun, met kat n sy for lunch and had our usual bonding session. talk bout a lot of things, n kat! ask so many qian bian qns... veri funny!!! hmm muz hav more of such small meetings... in different uni now, sometimes we tend to forget each other.. such meetings will constantly remind us y we love our dear freinds so much. :) rite, gals?? kat, u better say yes.. bleh~

This shld b up last nite...

went to watch KE hallplay with COT todae.. had steamboat at arts... yumyum.. cold day eat ma la steamboat... GOOD!! lol. lets consider it as our mini reunion dinner bah. End up, we were too engrossed in out steamboat, had to finish every drop of it and it resulted in us being late for the play... LOL...

well, maybe is becoz we entered the threatre late, first part a bit catch no ball. so i began to find other forms of entertainment.. i did what i m best in.. OBSERVE. lol. found a lot of interesting stuff on stage that others may not notice..
let mi see, 1) the costumes r pretty nice although a few threaten a wardrobe malfunction at some point. i m currently on the lookout for a satin dress, mayb thats y i was so attracted to the satin pieces that the performers wore.. the colour combi they had was veri nice too. hmm, i certainly harbour no other intentions watsoever, but the costume that the guy playing the guard was wearing had a veri high slit!! lol. it went up to just mayb the length of the thumb n pinkie from the waist. at tt length, i wonder wat he wore beneath coz there seems to b no peek-a-boo of FBT shorts of black tights... hmm, guys shld wear it like wat gals do de rite.. no? haha enough of tat...
2) i noe i'm evil, but the gal acting as the main lead had sunburn.. the strong lighting accentuated it and i couldnt help but notice... haha was i the onli one?
3) i was veri impressed by the ppl who played the priest, Borvia and Orsul.. their voice projection was veri impressive. powerful and strong. not to mention the ability to memorise the long scripts they hav to narrate with those intense feelings. and mind you, their english is Shakespeare's kind of english. chim.

oh btw vday is coming!! these few days i see some guy friends stressing over the thinking n planning n approaching.. but friends, jus go for sincerity ya. jiayou. be more daring bah.. u don try u never noe. if u never noe, trust me, u'll still b thinking bout it when u r old..
hee n i was thinking orh, m i not a typical gal?? typical gals love soft toys n hav them on their bed isit?? mi leh, always tell my friends no soft toys pls. haha moral of story: Guys, better noe the preference of the person u like k..
flowers... hmm wat is nice?? i used to like germinis and gerberas coz they look bright n happy. but went for a short search online.. by itself, it doesnt seem veri nice now. lol shan bian de nu ren. hmm see how bah.

Todae is realli a random day. Felt like a normal day but i did silly things todae which entertained zy a whole lot, made me laughed non-stop at my own blur-ness also... then during lunch agnes received a call from sab who propose a surprise party for sher, our dear bday gal todae. haha it was realli last min, but well, who says last minute cant get good ideas?? we bought chewy junior cream puffs as 'cake' as brought it down to hanabi restaurant at odeon towers where sher n dan were having their dinner... Hmm, tis is my 2nd time seeing Daniel, first time tot he was realli shy, but todae he's different. Looks like a fun person. good choice sher! lol. sher was veri surprised when we appear behind her in the restaurant... hee, jus received a thank you sms from her... hmm glad u like our mini surprise!! =p

Wats in a name?

Today, i saw a friend not once but twice. She looks veri familiar but i cant remember where i known her from... When i saw her for the first time, i was quite bothered that i cant remember where i got to know her, n much less her name.. I couldnt link her to any of the people who entered my life before. But after a while, i gave up... went back to trying to understand DNA cloning... lol..

Then, during the later part of the day, i saw the same girl in ARTS again. fated ya.. haha. So, i was determine to recall at least where i got to know her from rite?? By elimination method, at last i remembered.. a friend i got to know when i went back to nuh to work during my 2nd stint. But still cant remember her name la. paiseh.

well, wats in a name?? i read from somewhere before. Tat a name is created for something if one uses it often enough and is able to influence others to start using it... Wat do you call rain that hits on the window?? Is there a special name for it?? no rite? not currently... but if i decided to call it 'pitter patter pit'. And if i am determined enough to say,' hey! look at that pitter patter pit..' to every stranger i see (well, if they don tink that i'm mad) whenever there's rain, who knows, mayb a few months mayb a few years later, i would have fans for 'pitter patter pit'. =p

Otherwise, how do u think the words, 'webcast' , 'negative marking', 'repeat again' and 'tucking out of shirt' came about?? Negative marking??? wats that? Actually it doesnt make sense at all.. Marking is an act, n yet we are negating it.. Imagining saying negative running... Shld i run backward for that instead? Or mayb i shldnt even bothering running at all.. LOL..
Repeat again?? Huh? repeat means to do another time, with 'again', shld i now repeat once or twice?? *scratch head*
And lastly, school students' favourite phase, 'tucking out'.. Tucking is an act where u put something in, so how can u 'out' it?? See!! Some of these words doesnt make sense at all yet we hear them being used all the time... so.... maybe there's realli hope for pitter patter pit. =p

Went to jk's place last evening for a COT gathering. i tink most of us were looking forward to the fun and company. had a massive fastfood dinner. haha jk prepared lots of alcohol too.. he was like the bartender for the nite.. Let me recall what he had... There were hoegarden, erdinger, tequila and whisky. Zee bought bailey's n i bought vodka which had been standing long at home since no one drinks it.. i tried a bit of everything to taste them. Don like the taste of hoegarden, although the guys were saying that it is the easiest drinking beer.. To me, it taste totally like cough, cold mixture.. eeks. Prefer tequila to whisky but both actually don taste good... like wat edwin said, neat liquer smell and taste like kerosene. hard liquer is so dry and dehydrating.. i had mostly bailey's... hmm warm chocolate milk.. 17% alcohol. lol. was a bit seh towards the end. not drunk but had the dull sleepy feeling. felt veri lazy n just felt like lazing around. This is the first time i drank an amount that make me feel seh. Usually, i will limit myself to just 1-2 glasses of red wine. Feeling seh is actually not a veri nice feeling. But, jk is really a good host. Thanks so much. Imposed on u till so late and made a mess of ur place. And thanks junkai for driving us home all the way.. hmm, i have photos of last nite but cant post them now coz i left my camera at jk's place.. lol, slipped out of my bloggled mind last nite.

PS. had lots of weird dreams tat seems so real last nite.. they are funny dreams but sweet as well =p

out of sight, out of mind?

A friend of mine stand by tis line,

I've always wondered how true is tat. it sounds like a line one who is wu nai bout the relationship n has alreadi given up hope on it would use.. i used to tink i understood this line well. but i realise in the end, this may not be always true.. or mayb i've failed as as a friend in your context. i don tink i have though. i m confident of tat.



'Out of sight, out of mind' was another line i was taught. 'NO' i'll always answer. out of sight doesnt necessarily mean out of mind.. unless the person executing it is adamant bout making it true. onli then, this is possible.

Thursday...

the first thing i heard from my mum tis morning was a spine-thrilling event.. someone commited suicide near my block.. the block in front of mine actually.. guess how... a guy in his fifties hanged himself on the tree... it was found by a cleaner in the wee hours tis morning... my mum heard it from the market actually... nono its not gossip, coz at 10 when i peer out the window to the carpark, the black police van used for transporting dead bodies was downstairs.. there was another white police van.. shortly after i saw the black van swerved to the other side of the carpark n saw some policemen carrying the body up the van.. was debating whether to take photos of it.. coz its not veri nice rite, n pandang.. but such events r rare so took photos anyway.. but the process of carrying the body up the van was blocked by the trees, so cant see it.. scary... to tink tat tree is along the path which i will walk sometimes in the night... will steer clear of tat area from now...

in sch, ph is realli getting cuter lesson by lesson.. his accent is difficult to decipher, till now i still cant understand him sometimes, n was actually quite sian diao tat he's taking us tis sem again... he's nice but sometimes difficult to understand.. but he's realli putting in tat effort n we can all see.. todae, he proved to us how lame can he be.. lol.. sometimes i sort of feel paiseh for him, coz he will ask a qns or say a joke yet no one respond to him.. then he hav to find tai jie himself.... then it was ew lecture.. tis guy is getting on my nerves.. his onli plus point is tat he speaks understandable english... tis is yet another guy who likes to ask qns to my class who don like to respond to questions... lol.
