yes, got back my draft... needs data collection again.. ****... and its not good... many many Many changes to make... basically like he says, its a sch report... not a fyp report. he says my writing is bad. very difficult to read.. my co-sup also say so.. so it muz be really true... my concepts not there also... damn, i tried my best to squeeze out all i tot i was worth, and end up, i'm worth like that??? wth...

the thurs be4 vday, went hanabi w dear.. i mentioned that rite?? i think i did... then on vday at last i got my present... thought of since last june, started preparing since last dec... exaggerating rite??? i'm not... the fnished product made me believe so.. dear actually use his hands to SEW a cross-stitch cushion for me leh... its quite big somemore. veri nice:) and i muz say i'm realli impressed by his sewing skills. omg... even i'm not that neat.. and the amt of patience.... thanks dear.

I think recently i hav been indulging in something called 'fleeting happiness'.. enjoyed for 1 whole week, n judgement day has come again.. to be continued...

this few days i realli bao bao everyday... tue went sakae dinner w sis. yest went nyonya buffet w hc n mindy, tdy celebrated vday w dear at hanabi. yes again buffet.. 2days consect buffet... oh my tian..

yest nyonya buffet was at Chilli Padi Nyonya restaurant (opp bugis).. $15 onli.. the food there was simple and onli a few variety.. smallest buffet spread i ever seen. but jus treat it as a normal dinner. u will be happy with their food. in general, their food is not bad.. i like their penang laska n curry chicken noodles... the penang laska was realli authentic..veri sour n u can taste the spices... the curry was veri lemak.. hc n i drank like it was soup.. haha.. the kueh variety also not bad... but their palau hitam no coconut milk provided... a bit sad.. with coconut milk would b nicer..








then tonight, jus went hanabi with dear... celeb vday in advance..:) so fast 1 yr liao.. (although many friends feel like we hav been tog for veri long) decided to celeb tonight so as to aviod crowd on sat.. wanted to try hanabi for a long time alreadi.. in general, it didnt disappoint me.. like their way of serving.. 1 serving realli means one portion onli. even their sushi came as a piece if u order one serving.. which means very good.. no food wastage and we can try more stuff.. tried a lot of different things..n we had no food wastage at all..for sashimi, i like ika (for once), yellow tail, salmon... maguro not v good tdy.. then the pork belly w kimchi or pepper was veri soft n tender too.. chawanmushi was veri tender and full in taste.. dear also order sake.. first time trying rice wine.. can drink but i still prefer red wine.. haha. i like thier miso eggplant too.. veri fragant.hmm the grilled shitake was good too. lightly salted jus sufficient to bring out the sweetness of the shitakes.. overall it was nice.. happy..












yest during lab, we made tablets~~ quite fun.. then we had extra fine powders so while waiting for our turn at the tableting machine, i entertained myself with the fines...

Job search

tomorrow is the deadline for my first draft.. stressed these few days.. but something made me laugh..

just checked my email and read the email bout my pre-reg job application.. (it was sent a few days ago actually, no time to look at it)..

basically, in this bad economical times where ppl are out searching high and low for a job, my dept is still holding our hands... institutions are arranged to come my sch on one day (coming soon) and promote to us... Then interviews will start the next day next 3 days.. we advised not to make any response to any instituition that offer us a job till a deadline given to ALL instituitions to reply us. hahahha... so we noe wat choice we hav before making the final decision. All in all, its a span of 1 week, and VIOLA!! one week from that, i'll know where my future is heading towards!!

hi all, my internet got BIG prob.. i m back to ancient times, using dial-up for now.. connection v unstable.. waiting for my new modem... otherwise i m not internet accessible at most times... damn inconvenient.... sharks...

Jus had a family dinner at blk 85.. sis was craving for food there.. had a simple dinner. the bak chor mee there quality drop liao.. their noodles confirm changed. i tried twice alreadi.. its no longer the translucent, springy ones... now the noodles r more starchy and yellowish in colour..

then we went bedok NTUC to 办年货!! so fun... i love grocery shopping with mummy.... spent $159 buying CNY stuff... mostly things my sis n i wan to eat.. LOL... when paying, my mum was still telling the cashier that we would prob finish all the tibits before CNY.... LOL... no la. its realli a lot.. cant be cant be... mummy tdy pocket burn hole le... hee.. mummy the best mah!! :)

FYP is withering my young life recently so no postings..

my sup, the man who controls my stress level. i dunno to love or to hate. (both words used r slightly stronger than intended for effect..) but tts e idea.. recently, he seems to be nice to me.. providing me w e necessary enlightenment tt i was hoping to get. hopefully this will continue n be e same for e rest of us under him. We will get there...

2 days to new year!! brand new year hope all good things stay, bad things go away... arent i greedy?? Let me be more sharing. Hope its the same for all! Cheers.

had a veri fun xmas party with 13 yao... our usual xmas celebration.. This year theme is suspenders... Thanks sing yung for her property.. haha.. So fun, with e suspenders n BIG specs... Whipped potato is nice... everything w chicken stock is good. new cooking tip i learnt tt nite. Thanks marcus for ur xmas tree so that all of us could write our wish on it.. Twilight

OOOO.... i so LOVE twilight.. i love the romance.. i love the sweet words the vampire used... 'i don have the strength to leave you' omg omg... house on fire... lol.. its the overall package.. i love u so much that i m controling n doing my best not to bite u n drink ur blood, although it smells like the best thing.. ooo, nono this line is not gg to work in real life for me but in the world of vampires, this line, can you imagine... omg omg.. sweet.. plus the humour in it is also subtle and funny. my cup of tea for humour.. like the private joke about the artpiece made of graduation hats... hahahaha...

this is one movie in a LONG time i swoon as i watched it in the cinema... Yes, it is a teenage romance flick which is so unbelievable to adults... but IT is suppose to be a teenage romance flick in the first place when the author wrote it.. so in my view, its purpose has been attained and we shld watch it with that in mind.. Good job!

night out w COT

Went to Sofra, A Turkish restaurant at Shaw Tower with COT for xmas + COT 1st anniversary celebration. Famous for it's Kebabs and Grilled food. Tried the Jumbo set with dear, and Kk, HC, edwin, all tried different dishes. Prices for it range from $13.90 to $35.90 for a jumbo set for two. If you do like Grilled food kebabs, this is a good place to try out, plus the ambience of it, its nice for ppl to hang ard.

Actually, the setting of it was very similar to what we have in India One year ago, at the Restaurant in Bangalore, and it's just nice 1yr Anniversary for the formation of the COT. Woohoo.. To think I've already known the COT group for 1yr le.. And it's being one yr since I went to India.. What a memorable experience it was.. =)

today at my fyp place, i saw tms noodle stall auntie n uncle.. first was a glimpse.. took a double look to confirm its them.. coz my fyp place is not a happy place to be found in.. then i went after them... found them after a while.. intro myself to auntie n say hi to her... she was touched.. i could see that in her eyes. For a moment, i felt the warm, fuzzy feeling too.. She was surprised that i care to acknowledge her. Had a small chat w her. And i feel the sincerity. If again, i would still do the same. I think among all the vendors, somehow onli towards this couple i will bah. Thanks for all their good food during those sec sch days and my fav 50cents fried fishcake..

my life is on a roller coaster operated by ac. every other day want to talk to ac just to get a little more info to make my life less complicated n simpler. yet sometimes after talking to ac, life gets more complicated too.. tts explains how he can control my happiness n depression. actually not onli my happiness is in his hands, he holds the happiness of 9 others.. so i m onli getting 1/10 of his many hundredths impt appointments..

but today, he made 4/10 of our lifes clearer... so today is a happy day.

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! i COMPLETED my first 10km today!!!!! ok it's irritating to hav to many !!

but so happy mah. didnt realli train. ran twice after my exams onli. and before that the last time i ran was prob more than a month ago.. My aim today was jus to complete it without walking... i think crash course mayb got use.. but max 10km la.. further than tt realli need to train liao.. timing was 1hr 27min but we started late.. haha. but compared to kat n hx, i m significantly slower la.. i admit.. they can run de lo. was with them onli for the first stretch.. then jiu bye bye they got further n further away le.. k k they shall be my new aim?? maybe i shall aim to close in the gap next time... to catch up all one go maybe too far-fetched for now la..

now my knees r aching.. n its the sides.. screw loose there i tink.. staircase is a big challenge..

As things get more n more complicated in life, you would have realise u r getting older.. To the right is a hurdle, thinking you can turn to the left for an escapade, then u see a barrier... To the front is a no entry sign, to the back are 4 fierce dogs growling.... When in life the sweetness is being diluted, one would hav to slowly learn to take less sugar. To try adding back the sugar, would b an option, but the spoon may be in someone else's hand...

i sort of find it scary.. i think we are all been prep since young to get use to the exam climate... (although it's realli something that never enough practice will calm ur nerves)

you remember playing video games?? i remember myself playing mario and sonic. I shudder when i spotted some similarities with exams..

there is always a time factor. And within this time, u r mario, or u r sonic... trying to go through all the trials and tribulations that have been so meticulously set up for you so that u can fall into their every little single trap.. U jump past a hole, u shoot a menancing looking creature, you collect the coins along the way. Always hoping to get as many points as possible... at the end u fight the BOSS... Fighting BOSS is tough, u need enough power, stamina and strategy.. if you manage to kill BOSS, u proceed and they total up ur score.. ( i can hear the coins trickling as it is been counted)...

isnt it like exams... u r always against time... u need precision and accuracy as u read the qns and be sure not to fall into any of the traps set for u to fall into... as u answer a qns correctly, u pick up that coin... at the end of it, usually Section C is where u will meet BOSS.. by then u r tired, lack stamina and BOSS is actually 'innocently' waiting there for u for a long time.. u try to fight it... there is a time limit too... so u decide to use all that every bit of energy left in u and fight it all out.. at teh end of it, they will tabulate your score...

got negative marking, even more apt... u touch the monster creature accidentally, u can actually see coins dropping out of ur pockets.... rolling rolling away... ya just like the points we pain-stakingly build up rolling away...

sigh... now i finally understand the true purpose behind these 'educational' games.... just that now, we play them at a different scale... same rules apply.

went to watch Avenue Q yesterday night at the Esplanade.. first time watching a musical there.. The musical was nice! the songs were funny and the storyline was refreshing.... thanks shaun for ur recommendation.. i tink i noe why u like it so much and keep asking mi to watch liao.. haha. Coz the puppets are so funny.. hmm. entertaining 2 1/2 hrs. hmm shld b studying at this period now la.. but the show choose to be in town now, wat to do.. lol. k fun's over for now.. serious work first... tata..
